BVSO is a 6 day series of events for all Staten Islanders 50 years+ held at various venues throughout the Island. Each participant registers for as many events as desired for the basic fee of $15. There is an additional charge for golf and bowling.

Each person gets a t-shirt to wear to the events. There is a culminating luncheon, which includes a parade of medal winners, demonstrations by seniors, awards, informational vendors-- and a good time for all. All of this is included in the registration.

Registration is by mail. Each person receives detailed information about whatever activities were requested. We have cards entitling people to t-shirts and special days and places where they may be picked up.

All of this is provided by volunteers who are seniors.
